The annual Rock n' Roll Half Marathon is set to return to Downtown St Petersburg on Sunday, February 10 with a full day's worth of distance running, live music, and more.

Just like last year when platinum-selling singer and rapper, Flo Rida performed, another platinum-selling singer and rapper, Sean Kingston, is set to play as the headliner at this year's Rock n' Roll Half Marathon.

Kingston will perform at the run's Finish Line Festival taking place at North Shore Park after the race is over.  In addition to this, the half marathon will feature a variety of local musicians performing along the 13.1-mile race route, which extends from Tropicana Field to North Shore Park.  Pre- and Post-run performances are free to attend and open to the public.

Last year, the inaugural Rock n' Roll Half Marathon in St. Petersburg attracted about 7,000 runners, half the amount that race promoters and city boosters had initially predicted.  Even so, the race generated about $7.8 million for the area.

In addition to the normal, half marathon run, the Rock and Roll Half Marathon will also offer a 3.1-mile, mini marathon for those not ready to take on the 13.1 miles.  Registration for the mini marathon is $45 until February 3 and $55 on the day of the race.

Registration for the normal Rock n' Roll Half Marathon is $110 until February 3.  To register or get more information, check out runrocknroll.competitor.com.
