Toby Keith is known for his illustrious songwriting skills. In 2015, Keith was inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame in New York City. He has also been presented with many prestigious awards, including Songwriter/Artist of the Decade by the Nashville Songwriters Association International, Artist of the Decade by the American Country Awards, and is a three-time recipient of the Songwriter/Artist of the Year award by BMI Country. Keith is also an extremely talented performer. His tours have drawn in more than a million fans each year for more than a decade. This year, his much-anticipated North American tour kicked off in May, and will wrap up in August 2017 with two festival performances in British Columbia.

Keith’s seventeen studio albums, two Christmas albums, and four compilation albums have sold more than 40 million copies, garnishing him among the Top 200 all-time, all-genre Artists of the decade, according to Billboard’s Top 200. Keith also was awarded Billboard’s #1 Country Songwriter of the Decade and #1 Country Artist of the Decade. On Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, he charted sixty-one singles, including twenty number one hits and twenty-one additional top ten hits.

But more than anything else, Keith loves giving back. Keith founded The Toby Keith Foundation in 2006, a foundation whose mission “is to encourage the health and happiness of pediatric cancer patients and to support OK Kids Korral”. OK Kids Korral provides a comfortable, cost-free, and convenient home for pediatric cancer patients receiving treatment at The Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center, Peggy & Charles Stephenson Cancer Center and other nearby facilities. Keith is also known for supporting our US Troops by providing 11 USO Tours throughout the world. Keith is also known to be an advocate for music education. He has filmed a PSA for Little Kids Rock, “a national nonprofit that works to restore and revitalize music education in disadvantaged U.S. public schools”.
