The video titled "Scalloping on FSC" was created to be used as a promotional tool via social media and other direct marketing techniques during 2020. The award-winning promotional video was crafted to bring awareness for the recreational bay scalloping season which was newly reinstated. Florida Sports coast collaborated with JL Video to produce the promotional video. The video showcases a family, portrayed by local talent, with a Sports Coast fishing charter captain having a fun-filled day on the water.

What is a Telly Award?

The Telly Award is a distinguished award for recognizing television and video across all digital mediums. Over 12,000 entries were submitted to The Telly Awards from all 50 states, including 5 continents. Florida Sports Coast won a bronze Telly Award in travel and tourism last year for their video titled "Let's Play". "I am thrilled our team has been recognized for the second year in a row by the Telly Awards," Pasco County Commission and Tourist Development Council Chairman Mike Moore said. "Florida's Sports Coast is an exciting brand that shows the opportunities adventure visitors have in our community. Congratulations to all involved on once again receiving international recognition and bringing attention to Pasco County's scalloping season."
