Emotion plays a huge part in our day-to-day choices in life.  Without even realizing it we make decisions regarding what to buy and where to eat on random things like color, a yummy post seen on social media or the opinion of a trusted friend. Emotion is important when making choices according to 'Changing Minds'.  They believe our choices begin with logic, but our final decisions are driven by emotion. Here at MyArea Network's 727area, we strive to be that trusted friend.  Familiar with all things local we visit restaurants and encourage our network of users to post their reviews to make your decision process easier. We want to know about authentic places putting their heart and soul into their restaurants, chefs who will tell you, "My heart is on every plate I serve."

In the spirit of useful information, please meet the talent behind Blue Sake, in delightful Dunedin, FL.

From the cool blue atmosphere, soothing music, kind staff and amazing cuisine at Blue Sake, you know you chose well!  Meet the people behind this quaint Asian Fusion Sushi house:

Angie came from Thailand, you may know Angie from Thai Town, a little further west on SR 580.  The daughter of a woman who owned and operated a restaurant in Thailand until retiring at age 65, Angie discovered her passion for cooking in 2009.  Never dreaming she would follow in her mother's footsteps she armed herself with her mother's recipes, read books on cooking technique and practiced, determined to serve the freshest ingredients from a blend of her favorite cuisines. Angie successfully turned her experience into one of the finest fusion dining opportunities in the area. Angie puts her heart in every dish served at Blue Sake!

Not long ago Angie traveled to Thailand to visit her 80 year old mom, something she does not get to do as often as she would like.  When she returned home to Dunedin she learned the chef she left in charge changed a few things while she was gone, and her customers noticed, they missed her! Which explains why people followed Angie when she opened Blue Sake, you know when Angie is in the kitchen!

Her Japanese Tonkatsu, a pork cutlet, breaded and deep-fried is served with shredded lettuce, carrot, lemon and topped with her tasty Tonkatsu sauce, a blend of fruits, vegetables and spices.

Another great choice is the Apple Duck Curry.  Her crispy duck is sliced thin, then topped with red curry prepared with fresh apple, pineapple, tomato and carrots.  This dish is perfect over rice or eaten with Indian pancakes.

It was Angie's dedication to the food served at Blue Sake that led her to Sushi Chef, Luan.  Angie watched sushi chefs on the line at a popular Thai restaurant and noticed Lu's dedication to detail, his finesse, and expertise.  She knew immediately she wanted him for Blue Sake!  On our most recent visit Luan made two specialties not on the sushi menu, each spoke to his creativity and knowledge of flavor profiles, both were delightful!

"Lolli-Pop", seen in the foreground and the Spicy Tuna "Bon-Bon" seen behind. Yes, that is tuna in the center of that bon-bon! Luan's sushi is a feast for the eyes as well as your palate!

Support staff members Jay, Christine and Candy make sure the restaurant is spotless and ensure you have everything you need, providing a first-class experience.
