New Port Richey is one of the great seafood locales around the Tampa Bay Area.  Situated right next door to the Gulf of Mexico, New Port Richey's taste for the sea is evident throughout many restaurants in the city.  Here's five of our favorite seafood restaurants in New Port Richey.

Grille One Nine - If you enjoy your seafood with a bit of Asian flare, then Grille One Nine is a great place to eat in New Port Richey.  Boasting a full sushi menu and a number of other seafood entrees, Grille One Nine will treat you with a sense of modern elegance in their casual atmosphere.  Menu highlights include seared Ahi tuna, and tuna, salmon, or whitefish sushi.

Alli Gators Florida Grill and Bar - If you just want some seafood without all the upscale frills, then Alli Gators is your seafood restaurant in New Port Richey.  Enjoy their delectable gator bites as well as an assortment of other down-home seafood staples from fried shrimp to grouper.  Watch the game on the big screen or enjoy a turn at karaoke on Friday nights.

Trinity Seafood Market - Trinity isn't your typical sit down, get waited on, and eat restaurant, but that doesn't stop it from serving up some delectable, mouth-watering seafood in New Port Richey.  Homemade salad platters like tuna and lobster salad are incredibly delicious while their fried fish dinners like fish and chips, fried catfish, and florida grouper are perfect for taking home after a long, busy day at work.

Rusty Bellies - This one's a little out there, more in the Tarpon Springs area, but that doesn't stop it from attracting New Port Richey locals from taking the drive to this scenic, waterfront eatery.  Enjoy live music on their waterfront bar as you dine on seafood staples like hand-breaded baby scallops, mahi mahi, and peel-and-eat shrimp.

The Crab Shack - Enjoy a wide, eclectic, and, best of all, inexpensive menu at the Crab Shack in New Port Richey.  Fried corn on the cob?  Oh yes.  Gator meat in a ton of varieties?  Yep.  Of course, there's a ton of other seafood staples too.  Enjoy some live music on the patio as you feast on your meal and look out into the beautiful Gulf of Mexico
