In a densely-packed, and highly competitive restaurant scene like Downtown St. Petersburg's, your restaurant needs something that genuinely makes you a cut above the rest to stay afloat as a business.  It could be as simple as prime location next to a lot of pedestrian traffic, high-quality, inventive cuisine that's never been seen before, or a sense of camaraderie with customers that keeps them coming back for more.

Frankly, it's a little too early to tell, but the new Vue Sushi and Martini Bar in the Bank of America building could definitely attribute its potential worthiness to a fantastic location and its selection of modern, inventive Asian fare and speciality cocktails.

Located on the first floor of the Bank of America building on Central Avenue, The Vue's outdoor patio may just be one of the best in St. Pete.  Completely covered so you can enjoy the shade and not worry about rain, the outdoor area boasts a full bar, tables, TVs, and couches perfect for lounging around on and conversing with friends.

Sushi is the main focus at Vue when it comes to dining.  They offer a variety of sashimi (raw fish on rice) and sushi rolls perfect for snacking on alongside one of their sake mixed drinks.  Sushi highlights include the Buccaneer Roll with fried shrimp, cream cheese, salmon, avocado, crab, and eel sauce, and the View Roll with spicy tuna, asparagus, and tempura chips topped with avocado and eel sauce.

The drinks are just as creative as the sushi with a selection of beer, wine, and cocktails including The Rising Sun with sake, ginger, and simple syrup, and, of course, the Sake Bomb with a shot of sake dropped in a beer.

If this sounds intriguing, head to Vue Sushi and Martini Bar in Downtown St. Pete and see what they're all about today!
