While anyone who's had a hangover will be quick to tell you that they're not something to celebrate, who doesn't want an excuse to go out with friends and sip on some good drinks? Bloody Marys are a classic hair-of-the-dog hangover "cure," but unfortunately, it can be hard to come by an outstanding one.

Ella's Americana Folk Art Cafe

Although this Bloody Mary is across the Bay at a restaurant in North Tampa, it ranks top on the list of the best Bloody Marys around. Ella's took home the trophy for Best Bloody Mary from Creative Loafing's Best of the Bay awards last year...take one taste and you'll understand why.

Red Mesa Cantina

This Downtown St. Petersburg joint features modernized Mexican eats and hand-crafted cocktails, as well as a rooftop patio with views of the city.
