One of the Tampa 5 arrested on May 6 at the University of South Florida while protesting Rod Desantis and his attacks on education . She is a community organizer with the Tampa Bay Community Action Committee. She attended the protest on her day off from work to stand in solidarity with Students for a Democratic Society against the attacks on higher education, black education and diversity. She firmly stands in opposition to the attacks and to the false charges her and the four others face.
