Floating Roots music blog is hosting its first ever music festival! Introducing Floating Roots Fest - a showcase of the best independent musical acts in the Tampa Bay area!
Event Details
From 2 PM to midnight on Saturday, January 12th, seven amazing acts will grace the stage live at the Paper Crane in downtown St Petersburg. R&B, indie rock, electronic, folk, hip-hop - all good vibes, no nonsense. DJ Callaghan Keane will provide dat funk between sets, Pirata Popup will be serving godlike street cuisine, Muddy Waters will be selling kratom and tea - and most importantly - there’s gonna be fairly priced beer and wine. Tickets come in the form of a wristband good for unlimited re-entry - and there’s even going to be an open mic. Quality stuff, this.
Tickets are only $10 and proceeds go directly to the performers. The percentage of ticket sales that Floating Roots would take home is instead going to be donated to our local Habitat for Humanity. We are doing this for the love of our community and for the love of our local musicians - not for profit.
