DEATH BY CHOCOLATE is back once again for its 27th year! Friday, December 1st for only a $20 ticket, you will enjoy all-you-can-eat delectable chocolate desserts from area restaurants and businesses, a silent auction, chocolate fountain displays, champagne, beer, jazz trio, and more. Calories don't count on this evening! Girls Night Out or Date Night, it's an event sure to please.
We kickoff the City of Largo's holiday season with Tree Lighting and Holiday Stroll, a family-friendly annual tradition and one of the most spectacular displays in Pinellas County. After our event ends, walk off those calories with a free stroll through over two million LED lights throughout Largo Central Park afterwards!
And...we are so excited to WELCOME Actor/ Producer •Two-time TONY® and Three-time EMMY® Award Winner •Broadway Global Producer of the Year Mr. Broadway himself Dale Badway AS OUR EMCEE ONCE AGAIN!
CHOCOLATE. Not one but two rooms await at the Central Park Performing Arts Center with chocolate vendors, meaning area restaurants and businesses who have created chocolate samples for you to enjoy, including a chocolate fountain display. We'll also have champagne, coffee and beer. Please eat a full dinner before you come!
SILENT AUCTION. Besides enjoying chocolate, beer, and champagne, a big part of the fundraiser is our silent auction. We've got wonderful items available for bidding, including several large vacation getaways for 2024 to Belize, Dominican Republic, South Africa and Cambodia, as well as other tickets for local attractions, sports events, a weeklong cabin rental, gift baskets and more!
WINE/LIQUOR TOSS GAME. A unique (and very popular!) game that evening is the Wine Toss Game, Which house been expanded in recent years into liquor. A truly "fun" fundraiser, you'll toss rings trying to land various bottles at varying heights, it's quite addictive.
SANTA CLAUS. Have you been good this year? Treat yourself with a trip to see SANTA early in the season! Yes, we totally know him! He will be there, make sure you are too!
WHO SHOULD GO. We get the question every year "are children allowed to attend?" While technically we do have a handful of families who attend, to be honest, this event IS GEARED FOR ADULTS with the chocolatier selections, silent auction, beer, wine/liquor toss game, champagne, etc.
- Strollers ARE PROHIBITED as it does get crowded and again, this event is geared towards adults.
- Tickets ARE required for ages 5 and over. NO exceptions.
TICKETS. There are 3 ways to purchase tickets:
- On our website thru 11/30 midnight it's simply $20 per ticket. We work through Paypal and we absorb that cost. No physical ticket is issued, you print out your receipt and bring with you.
- $20 physical ticket. Please DM us and we can arrange to meetup with you.
- At midnight on Thursday, Nov 30th online ticket sales will be shut down. You'll have to goto the box office at CPPAC to purchase a physical ticket, at a cost of $25, with a $3.50 addl fee from them.
