Dear friends and supporters.
2020 has been a challenging year for many and the Dunedin Highland Games is no different. Sadly, we have had to cancel our Games for 2020. The Highland Games are presented by the Dunedin Scottish Arts Foundation and that organization does a lot more in our community beyond the Highland Games event. The Dunedin Scottish Arts Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises money to support the Scottish Arts education and advancement in Dunedin by supporting our school and community Scottish arts programs. Highland dancing, middle school and high school pipe band teaching programs, and of course the City of Dunedin Pipe Band.
Regarding your advance-sale ticket purchase for the 2020 Highland Games, we would kindly like to ask that you consider "doing nothing" and allow the purchase to be a small donation to the continued work of the DSAF. Supporting our education programs is more important than ever and your donation will go a long way.
We also understand that these are hard times for many and even though you would like to, you may not be in a position to donate this purchase at this time. We understand. If you require a refund, please request so through Eventbrite and we will do our best to expedite your refund.
