The Wave Nightclub at Shephard’s Beach Resort is celebrating Labor Day with a three-day concert. On Friday, August 31 Shaun Frank will pack the two-level club. Saturday, September 1, 3Lau will be partying with lucky concert-goers and on Sunday Nicky Romero will kick off the last day with a bang. Enjoy incredible music and breathtaking views of the water during this year’s Labor Day Live Beach House. Be sure to get your tickets before they sell out. Friday’s pass is $12.61, Saturday’s pass $23.16, Sunday’s pass $28.45, a three-day pass is $30.56 and a three-day pass with pool access is $39.01.

Everyone is sad about the end of summer, but this Labor Day weekend, say goodbye with a party at Paul’s Landing celebrating the release of Old St. Pete’s, Paul’s Landings Special Edition Spirits: Beach Drive White Rum, Tropical Gin, and Founder’s Vodka. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. and is free to enter. Food and drink tickets are available for purchase at the event. Don’t miss out on the special screening of the 1959 “Some Like it Hot.”
Continue your Labor Day celebration with Big Storm Brewery’s coffee and ice cream opening. Enjoy three free ice cream toppings and the release of their first small batch beer-flavored ice creams. Try their soft served dipped, or a beer or nitro coffee float made with their cold brew and coffee ice cream. Try their freshly roasted coffee and espresso-based drinks. They use only locally roasted beans and apply the same attention to quality that is the hallmark of their other brews. Coffee and ice cream are located stands at the south side of the taproom.
Celebrate Labor Day by supporting local businesses at the Omni Pop-Up Market. The market travels Tampa Bay, displaying small local vendors. On August 31 at 5 p.m. the market will be at Pair O' Dice Brewing, where you can wander through showcases of goods with a cold beer and plenty of delectable food truck snacks. Kick off your long weekend this Friday with shopping, food and good drinks.
Get outside this Labor Day Monday and soak up the last of summer’s weather with a picnic at Highland Recreation Complex and Family Aquatic Center. Bring the family along for this poolside party from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Make sure to bring along your favorite snacks and sunscreen for some fun in the sun. Tickets are $23 or $12 with a card for a group of up to five.
This Labor Day get local and head to Tarpon Springs. Walk around the docks and enjoy fine art, crafts, food, and music from over 90 vendors. Start when it opens at 10 a.m. and make a day of it by grabbing lunch at one of Tarpon Springs many delicious local eateries, before continuing the afternoon shopping. The festival is free to attend.
