Get ready for some fun in the sun with Et Cultura 2017! A five day festival lasting from Wednesday, November 15th to Sunday, November 19th that brings together national and international innovators, future thinkers, musicians, filmmakers, and artists to collaborate, exchange ideas, and showcase their work alongside other creative types in the local community of St Pete, one of America's fastest-growing cities for arts and innovations!

Each day will have a different theme that will tie together different stories, challenges, and solutions that are key to growing the St Pete community. Also, each day will feature all of the four branches - interactive, music, film, and art - of the festival to bring guest a unique experience that mixes together inspiration, art, innovation, technology, film, music, and community.

Talk that talk! This year for the interactive portion, Et Cultura has partnered with Open Partnership Education Network (OPEN) at the USF St Pete campus to create a series of interactive experiences connecting ideas and local and national thought leaders.

Get ready to rock! Growing from the single main stage in 2016, this year the festival will collaborate with some of St Pete's most iconic music venues with multiple shows at The Landing at Jannus and State Theatre. There will also be outdoor live music featured during the Et Cultura Makers Market on Saturday and Sunday. Altogether there will be over 60 bands showcasing national and local talent during the festival's duration.

See the change! Et Cultura films are dedicated to supporting diversity, inspiring innovation, evoking emotions, and sparking laughter. In the spirit of "All Things Local", a Sunshine State Film Block will highlight films produced in, created in, or featuring Florida. To foster community engagement, there will be post-film discussions and Q&A sessions.

Art thou ready? Et Cultura art will have three evenings of free pop up art shows. Each show will feature a different genre of art, including graphic arts, mixed media, and robot art! Arts will also be displayed at The Galley with the Exquisite Corpse Game, a game that is played on paper as drawings and words and has been registered at Library of Congress for nearly 100 years. This year poetry will be added to the game making for an all exhilarating new experience and the exhibit will comprise 54 talented artists.

With all of this going on it can be easy to get overwhelmed. To relax during the festivities, join Et Cultura yoga sessions on Saturday and Sunday morning at the Baum Ave Main Stage. Access to all of these fun-filled activities is offered at $75. General admission tickets can be purchased online. VIP tickets, which provide an all-access pass and VIP experiences throughout the week, are available for $250.

This festival is all about community and the impact of Et Cultura doesn't end on Sunday. The themes discussed during the festival will continue on within the communities of St Pete. Be part of the celebration of community, arts, innovation and more with Et Cultura 2017!
