The 727 area is no stranger to the sea and all the tasty fare it has to offer.  It only makes sense that there'd be a seafood festival as grand and longstanding as the John's Pass Seafood Festival about to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

Going down Friday, October 28 through Sunday, October 30 at John's Pass Village on Madeira Beach, this seafood festival is a must-experience for anyone fond of the wide, eclectic variety of seafood in the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area.

It all kicks off on Friday, October 28 with a healthy dose of live music and fireworks to ring in this legendary festival.  On Saturday the gates will open at 10 a.m. close at 8 p.m.  Saturday will feature a children's costume contest at 3 p.m. and trick or treating for the youngsters all throughout the day.  Sunday, the festival runs from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

In addition to these events, the John's Pass Seafood Festival will also feature a juried art show, a whole slew of local seafood, live music, a street dance in the village, fishing expo, and a ton of children's activities.

Parking for the festival will be available at John's Pass Village and a parking garage not too far off-site.  There's a 300+ space parking garage easily accessible with entrances on 129th and 131st avenues.   Additional parking is also available at Madeira Beach Middle School with shuttle service to and from John's Pass Village.

If you want to sample the best of seafood and more in the 727 area, head to the 30th Annual John's Pass Seafood Festival, October 28 through 30 and get the best of local seafood and more all in one place.
