If you’re searching for a great way to unwind in the midst of holiday festivities, look no further than Clearwater Beach’s first annual Feast on the Beach Wine & Seafood Festival! The number one beach in the country is serving as the premier location for the 727area’s newest Wine and Seafood Festival this weekend, where celebrity chefs, local masters, and wine & craft beer connoisseurs will be sharing their talents with the public from November 30th through December 2nd

Not only does this festival provide support for participating local restaurants like Frenchy's Rockaway GrillBob Heilman's Beachcomber, and Salt Cracker Fish Camp, it also benefits local charities. The creators of Feast on the Beach – Chicago Cubs manager, Joe Maddon, Bay Area restaurateur, Frank Chivas and the former mayor of Clearwater, Brian Aungst Sr. – have designated Friday’s festivities as a Cheers for Charity Social honoring the Richard O. Jacobson Foundation.  For more than 40 years, the foundation has focused its grant activities on education, youth development, and medical research. Jacobson’s generous donations to Pinellas County organizations have left a tremendously positive impact on our community, and his legacy will be honored as the foundation continues to change the lives of those in need.

On Friday, November 30th, the Cheers for Charity Social will be held at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach from 7 – 10 pm. Seats are limited for this portion of Feast on the Beach, so if benefitting local charities while enjoying signature cocktails, wine sampling, craft beer, local restaurant booths, and live entertainment sounds like a good time to you, be sure to snag a ticket before it’s too late!
