Here, 80 acres of Old Florida nature, with the Pithlachascotee River taking center stage, have been preserved for all to enjoy. This site is named after New Port Richey city pioneer James E. Grey, who died in 1985. The Preserve is part of the Great Florida Birding Trail, with 140 different kinds of birds. In addition, it offers spectacular viewing opportunities for deer, wild boar, turtles, and manatees.
