Q: Who choose Aligned Academics?

With more than ten years of experience in a variety of academic settings, a strong focus on the Science of Reading, a certification in the Orton-Gillingham approach, as well as a degree in the field of education, Aligned Academics provides services that are parent and kid approved.
Q: How do tutoring sessions work?
A: We offer online tutoring and in-person tutoring during the school day at your child's school.
Online tutoring is held through Zoom, a free, high-quality HD video conferencing tool. The tutor’s screen will be shared, affording the student and tutor the same conveniences of working in person, plus all the added benefits of technology.
Q: Do you work with students who have been diagnosed with or suspected to have dyslexia?
A: Yes! We specialize in working with students who have dyslexia or other reading difficulties. We use the traditional Orton-Gillingham approach (not a boxed program) to tailor an intervention program to the needs of your child.
