St. Petersburg Arts Alliance

Description

The St. Pete Arts Alliance strives to promote arts throughout the city and to support local artists and businesses. The St. Petersburg Arts Alliance is the only nonprofit dedicated to raising money and advocating for our entire creative community – artists, arts and cultural organizations, and creative businesses. We raise money through individual and corporate gifts, event sponsorships, and state and federal grants that support community-wide arts efforts. • Organizations like the NEA award significant grants that individual arts organizations and individuals cannot apply for – but we can. • Many cities have a grant program for individual artists, but St. Petersburg doesn’t – yet. We advocate by providing studies and other resource materials to help everyone make the case for the importance of the arts as an economic driver that also contributes to our quality of life.
