The BE’s bike scavenger hunt gets a new coat of SHINE. Friendly competition and hilarity! Sweet prizes! Sick shirt! Bike valet! Awards ceremony and PAAARTY!
#BESHINY is a new partnership between The Body Electric Yoga Company and Shine St Petersburg Mural Festival’s 5th Annual Mural Festival. This 2-wheeled adventure launches from The BE where pairs set out to conquer strange challenges around the city. The final clue sends the group to SHINE’s finale party for the awards ceremony and festivities. SHINE muralists and other St. Pete luminaries will select winners in categories such as the Shiniest Costume Award, Best Team Name, Best Pair Performance, and Speediest.

TIMELINE:
2:00pm: BE SHINY riders launch from The BE
4:00-4:30pm: Last stop! Riders roll into SHINE’s finale party
5:00pm: BE SHINY awards
5:00-7:00pm: Enjoy Finale Festivities (new art unveilings, Indie Flea, bands, food + beer trucks)
7:00pm (sunset): Activate bike lights and roll out!
THINGS TO KNOW:
+ Each rider must register as an individual. (Complete the link above to tell us your shirt size, your team name and the name of your teammate.)
+ All participants must have access to a functional and safe bike.
+ Each team needs one smart phone ready for documenting challenges.
+ Riders will be required to purchase a beverage from a local stop, $5-$8. (NA options avail.)
+ You will receive the shirt size requested with pre-October 8 registration.
+ Riders are encouraged to wear official shirt complete with SHINIEST attire.
+ Bike locks, lights and helmets are a brainy idea!
