Join us and local author Bill DeYoung as he shares stories and reads from his books at an event promoting the publication of his new book, “I Need to Know: The Lost Music Interviews.”
Event Details
Bill DeYoung began his journalism career at age 17, as a correspondent for the St. Petersburg Times. After spending 35 years as a writer and editor at Florida newspapers, he wrote the books “Skyway: The True Story of Tampa Bay’s Signature Bridge and The Man Who Brought it Down” and “Phil Gernhard Record Man.” Today, he is the arts writer for the St. Pete Catalyst, and will publish a new book this fall, “I Need to Know: The Lost Music Interviews.”
Seating starts at 5:00. Opening remarks begin at 5:30 followed by the author’s talk. A reception & book signing will be held from 6:30 to 7:00
