While hurricane Ian hit Southwest Florida hard, residents have started focusing on recovery. You can witness the people removing debris from the roads and properties following the powerful storm.

If you feel it’s safe to step out, you should know that St Petersburg & Clearwater are not entirely open right now. However, a few bars and restaurants have opened their doors. Here is a list of what is open now in St Petersburg & Clearwater.

CD Roma, an Italian/Mediterranean brew pub in St. Petersburg, has begun its operations. They have suspended their BOGO special for this week due to limited prep time and staff availability. However, you can still enjoy Happy Hour until close!
Try their delicious pasta and pizza entrees with craft beer and wine bars at affordable prices.

Cool Vibes is a locals’ favorite restaurant with a full liquor bar. You can join them for food and drinks since they are open after the hurricane. While their normal open hours are 11 – 2 a, you should call them to know if there is a change before visiting.

The Wheelhouse in Saint Petersburg is a locally owned and operated bar and restaurant. They are known for their delicious food in handsome servings with an extensive drink and beer selection. It is a hidden spot even for locals. The staff here is also helpful and warm.

Sea Critters is a little patch of paradise in St. Pete Beach, set right in the water. If you’re ready to step out of the house, they are open after 4 pm. While they are offering a limited menu and cold drinks at the time, you can still enjoy a fresh seafood meal.
