Tired of being stuck at home? Looking for a fun way to spend time as a family? We know that during this time, we all are looking for things to do but being safe while doing so! Well, you are just in luck because we have compiled a list of things to do as a family in the Tampa Bay. We have plenty of options for you to choose from and make sure that you are safe in the process of it all as well! 

Visit the Florida Aquarium 

The Florida Aquarium is open to families by reservation and you are strongly encouraged to wear a mask. The aquarium is operating at 50% capacity during this time as well. 

Go to the Beach 

The beaches are open and fun way to relax with the family! Social distancing is being strongly encouraged and ideal here as you can spread out. 

Busch Gardens or Adventure Island (by reservation only)

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island are operating on limited capacity and you must make a reservation along with ticket purchase. Masks will also be required within the park!

ZooTampa

ZooTampa at Lowry Park is excited to be welcoming back guests at 50% capacity, you can visit the zoo with a prepurchased ticket and a reservation

Great Explorations Children's Museum

Great Explorations Children's Museum is doing a phased reopening with cut back hours. Their operating hours are Mon-Friday 4:45-6:00 pm. Be sure to check the museums website before going as ticket reservations are strongly encouraged!

Take a Hike

There are many parks and preserves that are open and ready for exploration! Lace-up those hiking boots and visit one of the preserves near you! 

Downtown Tampa Riverwalk

the Tampa Riverwalk is a 2.6 outdoor pedestrian trail! Lace-up the sneakers and take the kids on a walk through downtown! 

Glazer Children's Museum 

Glazer Children's Museum is operating at 25% capacity and adults are required to wear masks. You have 0i book a timed entry ticket for access into the museum 

Manatee Viewing Center 

In Apollo Beach, you can see the famous manatee that are adored by Floridians! This observation deck is fun for the whole family and kids of any age! The Manatee Viewing Center is hosted by Tampa Electric. 

MOSI 

Capacity at  MOSI - Museum of Science & Industry is at 50% and you are encouraged to wear a mask.
