A Denver Post survey and Match.com ranked Colorado number-one in the top five dog-loving states. Not surprisingly, Denver has frequently ranked high on lists of the most dog-friendly cities. Rover.com also ranked Denver as number-one, and SmartAsset, a financial consulting company, ranked it as number-three.

Washington Park

Littleton

This is a historic Gold Rush city that dates back to 1859 when gold seekers, farmers, and merchants settled in the area. There are suburb homes as well as farming and ranch properties that are valued in the millions. The city has more than 1,477 acres of open space, parks, and trails.
