Reparations Friday

Join us this Friday and every Friday through October 9th as we organize in the white community to unite with the movement for reparations to African people right here in this city. These events are building toward the March for Reparations event and Teach-in happening on Saturday October 17th. Location: Round-a-bout on Central Ave and 11th Street in St. Petersburg, FL. Fridays from 6-8pm.

We are calling white people in St. Pete to unite with these demands through material solidarity:

1. Rick Kriseman, the St. Pete City government, and the white people of St. Petersburg pay reparations to African people.

2. Return the 85 acres of land, where Tropicana Field lies, to the black community of St. Pete.

3. Remove the colonial police that occupy the South Side black community of St. Pete, and implement a policy of economic development instead of police containment.

4. End the genocidal gentrification of the black community in St. Petersburg
