As a noted activist, educator, author of the “Jemima Code” and “Jubilee,” & James Beard Foundation Book Award Winner (2016), Mrs. Tipton-Martin will help TBCGF celebrate African American cultural & heritage by discussing the connection between history, food, nutrition and a healthy environment at this FREE, one-day community event. ? Ray Wunderlich avid food security activist and owner of Wunderfarms demonstrates how to build sustainable gardens through composting.
? Chef Anne White, director of Gigi’s Playhouse, Tampa will dazzle us with braised collards w/ kimchee and fried rice.
