Join Great Explorations Children's Museum for their annual New Year's at Noon festivities and celebrate the new year "under the sea" at a time both kids and adults can appreciate!
Event Details
Great Explorations Children's Museum's New Year's Eve at Noon event will take place on Tuesday, December 31st from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families will enjoy live entertainment, sea-themed science and crafts, and a balloon drop at 12 p.m. sharp.
Main Stage Entertainment:
10–10:45 a.m. | Lightning Jack will transport families under the sea with his steel drum performance. Listen to songs like "Kiss the Girl," "Under the Sea," "Zippity Do Dah," "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," and "Bear Necessities."
11:15–11:45 a.m. | Ocean zones for kids and even a live mermaid! Get your fins ready as you learn about the layers of the ocean.
11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. | Evan and Amanda LeFloch from Smallfish Adventures will scuba into the ocean to ring in Noon Year's with all of the sea creatures. Count down to the legendary Great Explorations balloon drop!
Throughout the event, All Kids All Parties will also be making ocean animals out of balloons! Take home a balloon twist starfish, turtle, fish, octopus, or crab.
Tickets:
Members: $5 per person
Non-members: $15 per person
*Everyone over the age of 12 months must have a ticket to attend. Advance registration is strongly encouraged.*
Please note that Great Explorations Children's Museum will only be open for the ticketed New Year's Eve at Noon celebration. The museum will re-open for regular admission on January 2nd.
