Free for Theatre Tampa Bay members; $20 general admission.

Work your monologue with an expert


Transform, rehearse, and perfect your audition with physical and mental exercises based on the Method


Part Two led by Bridget Bean


The final part of the class will simulate the audition process and give you a chance to practice your monologue multiple times under similar circumstances to the Unified Auditions.


What to prepare and bring
* Monologue (1 minute, 2 minutes, or two 1-minute monologues) - memorized and rehearsed
* A printed copy of your monologue(s)
* A notebook and pen/pencil
* A copy of your headshot and resume
* Wear your Audition Clothing
* Lunch or snack
* Bottled water will be provided
NOTE: There will be a short break for lunch. Please BRING your lunch or snack with you. There will not be enough time to leave the premises. Thank you.

Patrick Brafford has over 40 years’ professional experience as a Director, Writer, Set Designer and Stage Manager.
In New York he directed such accomplished actors as Charles Busch, Madeleine Sherwood, Kim Hunter, Grayson Hall, Sheila MacRae, James Spader and Christopher Hewitt.
As Associate Director of John Strasberg’s Real Stage his teaching associates included Betty Buckley, Helen Gallagher, Carlin Glynn, Shelley Winters, Geraldine Page and John Strasberg.
Patrick coached for Universal Studios and was Production Manager for Rip Torn and Geraldine Page’s Sanctuary Theatre. He was the Administrator and Program Director for new plays at The Mirror Theatre, and his plays have been produced throughout the USA and Canada.
Patrick currently lives and directs in the Tampa Bay Area.
