Fall means it's time for Oktoberfest! First held in 1810 in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, Oktoberfest has grown into the world’s largest beer and funfair celebration. Wherever it is now celebrated worldwide, there are common ingredients: lederhosen, lively music, Bavarian dancing, mouthwatering foods, and big, BIG pints of beer.
Now Paragon and the Corey Avenue Business Association are proud to bring an authentic Oktoberfest experience to St. Pete Beach. In honor of the historical traditions, you will be able to celebrate by stuffing yourself silly with smoked sausages, roasted meats, sauerkraut, cabbage and both pretzels and beer while enjoying authentic German music and dancers, accompanied by family and friends!
So put on those lederhosen and join us for Oktoberfest on October 20-21, 2018 on Corey Avenue in beautiful downtown St. Pete Beach! Festivities are Saturday 10am - 8pm and Sunday 10am - 6pm. Admission is FREE (thus, more for German food and big BIG pints of beer!). Music is provided both days by Alpine Doc & Fraulein Gretel. Dancers will be the Bavarian Folk Dance Club known as the Gulf Coast Enzianer Schuhplattler Verein. Also enjoy a stroll through a marketplace of arts, crafts and fine products.
