Escape the house this Thanksgiving weekend and make the most of a beautiful Saturday morning with an intro to charter fishing! This beginner charter is perfect for anyone new to fishing, especially kids. Bring the whole family!
Event Details
You’ll get hands-on experience in catch-and-release saltwater fishing with a licensed captain. Learn how to bait a fishing hook, as well as how and where to cast a line. You’ll try a few different fishing spots, but don’t worry, the boat will always stay pretty close to land!
Anyone that’s been boating locally knows that this is a chance to experience the Tampa Bay area in a whole new way. From the water, you’ll see local wildlife, like dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, pelicans, and more! You don’t want to miss this!

This is a 2 hour boat ride. Space is limited to 4 people per time slot. Reserve your time when you sign up.

- Life jackets available for all ages and sizes
- You do *not* need your own fishing license on this charter

Where do I park and meet the instructor?
Park next to the boat ramp at the marina near the Safety Harbor Resort & Spa. Parking is limited, but there’s plenty more free parking across from the Spa, about a 5 minute walk from the pier. You’ll meet instructor Jeremy at the ramp. You can’t miss him, he will be in the blue iTREKKERS boat!
