The Black Honkeys are back! The Kiwanis Club of Safety Harbor and the Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center are teaming up to present this charitable event for the second year.
Event Details
We'll have bands, craft beer, wings, food trucks, a VIP tent, beer/wine passes, and more, all at Safety Harbor Waterfront Park.

THE BANDS
Kicking off the festival at 4 p.m. (gates open at 3:30) will be local favorite Jeriko Turnpike. They describe themselves as "... all things Rock. Sometimes acoustic, sometimes heavy, sometimes technical but always melodic and heartfelt." You may have seen them play 8th avenue pub and The Hideaway. Our festival will give them a chance to crank it up and energize the crowd early in the day.
At 5:30 will be The Hard Luck Society from Gainesville, Florida. They'll mix it up with some pedal steel and upright bass. "We play everything from old jazz standards to Western Swing to Rockabilly and everything in between." Come out to swing along!
At 7 p.m. Four Star Riot from Clearwater, Florida hits the stage. They hail from Clearwater, Florida​, but have shared the stage with national acts like Bon Jovi and Maroon 5. With several original albums, they deliver stick-in-your-head pop/rock choruses.
We can't thank The Black Honkeys enough for headlining again. They'll have you dancing 8:30 to 10 p.m. You know they rock, but did you know they also donate a ton of time? Bro Phil Esposito has been at all our planning meetings, helped us put together this great lineup, and The Black Honkeys play a lot of charitable festivals around here. #TheBlackHonkeys and THEIR FANS know how to rock and how to give back.
WINGS THROWDOWN
Sample and vote on the best chicken wings in Tampa Bay from 4 to 6 p.m. Get 6 wings for just $5 from a variety of local restaurants. You may keep buying tickets until the wings are gone (last year they lasted until 6:30). We're still adding wing vendors, but so far they include Dochos Latin Bistro, Whistle Stop Grill and Bar, Hot Butts BBQ, Abe's Place Tap & Grill, Miss Hazels Kitchen, Grind House Bar & Grill, Maggie on the Move, and Southern Fresh.
