Join The Afro Market Exchange in Celebrating One Year of Empowering Black Businesses!!
In 2020, small business owners,Tiffany Moore and Paige Tucker, decided to create The Afro Market Exchange in order to support local businesses, entrepreneurs, and artists. As more minority business owners venture into business ownership and entrepreneurship, they recognized a place was needed to sell products and promote services. The Afro Market Exchange is an opportunity to shop local, network, and celebrate black and brown excellence.
On Feb 21, 2020, the Afro Market Exchange launched with over 25 vendors and over 200 attendees. The event was a true celebration of Black Excellence and Black History. Just as things got started, the pandemic hit.
The Afro Market Exchange shutdown for two months before returning with a virtual market in May. In June, the Afro Market Exchange reopened and remained opened through December 2020.
The last Sunday of every month became a celebration that many looked forward to. Tiffany and Paige hosted 8 markets in 2020 with over 50 businesses as vendors and over 1000 attendees.
We invite you to join us in celebrating the one year anniversary of the Afro Market Exchange on Feb 28, 2021. Where's a better place to celebrate the last day of Black History Month than at The Afro Market Exchange?
