Description
The Veterans History Project was created in 2000 as part of the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress.
Event Details
Its mission is to collect, preserve and share American war veterans’ personal accounts so future generations have a better understanding of war.
Interviews
Veterans who’ve served during wartime eras (no combat experience necessary)
Trained volunteers collect stories through video-recorded interviews
Interviews must be a minimum of 30 minutes for submittal to the project.
