Join iTREKKERS at the Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market on Halloween morning to get hands on with fishing gear and learn how to land your first fish! Great for first time anglers, including kids!
This is a 45 minute lesson with a licensed, professional fishing guide. You’ll learn beginner tips, techniques, and answers to fishing questions like:
* How do I rig my fishing rod?
* What’s the best way cast my line?
* What type of fish can I catch in St. Pete?
* What type of bait should I use?
* How do I clean and fillet my catch?
MULTIPLE TIME SLOTS AVAILABLE: 9AM / 10AM / 11AM / 12PM Spots are limited so reserve your soon!
What's included?
This lesson is $10 and is limited to 4 people per time slot to ensure plenty of one-on-one time with the instructor. KIDS 6 AND UNDER CAN FISH WITH YOU FOR FREE! We'll provide your fishing rod, tackle and bait!
Adults over the age of 16 will need their own Saltwater Shoreline Fishing License to participate. This license is about $2 for Florida residents and a digital copy can be easily ordered at https://license.gooutdoorsflorida.com/. We're happy to help you order your license during the lesson. Kids under the age of 16 are not required to have a fishing license :)
Where do I park and meet the instructor?
Please check-in at the iTREKKERS market booth! We'll be located on the corner of Beach Blvd South and Shore Blvd South, right next to Neptune's Grill — look for the iTREKKERS flag.
There's plenty of free public parking along Beach Blvd and near Veterans Park. You'll meet your instructor, Captain Jeremy, and head to the Walter and Bert Williams Fishing Pier just a block away.
