Want to learn how to SUP, but not sure where to start? Join iTREKKERS in Gulfport for a beginner’s lesson right on the beach. Great for adults and kids, you’ll learn the basics of standing up and paddling from an experienced instructor.
This is a 45 minute lesson that includes a 15 minute intro on the beach, followed by 30 minutes to test out your skills in shallow water accompanied by instructor. You’ll learn:
* Best practices and safety
* How to balance on the board
* How to hold the paddle
* Techniques for conserving energy
...and plenty of other beginner tips and tricks!
MULTIPLE LESSON TIMES AVAILABLE: 1PM, 2PM, & 3PM! Seats are limited so don't wait — reserve your spot soon!
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
Lesson costs $10 and will be limited to 4 people per time slot to ensure plenty of one-on-one time with the instructor. We'll take care of the paddle boards and life jackets, but remember to bring your bathing suit, sunscreen, and water!
WHERE TO MEET:
There's plenty of public parking along the street and near Veterans Park. You'll meet the instructor on the beach right next to the fishing pier (across from O'Maddy's Bar & Grille). Look for the iTREKKERS flag, you can't miss it! Please arrive a few minutes before your reserved time slot.
