Join us for our new bi-monthly program, "Coffee With the Counselor", sponsored by the House of Mercy & Encouragement Auxiliary. Every other month, a counselor will be leading an engaging discussion on a hot topic in mental health. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided. Our July topic is Spirituality & Psychology. How do our emotions affect our spiritual life and our faith? What can we do besides pray when we are feeling anxious, angry, or depressed? Strong emotions can affect our spiritual and physical well-being. What is the role of the Holy Spirit in healing our wounded emotions and communicating with others? HOME Founder and Director, Dolores Mortimer, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor with advanced studies in pastoral counseling will address these and many other issues.
