Fundraiser for the Missy Shorey Memorial Scholarship Fund

Missy Shorey, our beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, left us unexpectedly and far too soon on April 24, 2019. Missy was a pillar of the Clearwater community. A graduate of Countryside High School, Missy served her classmates as both Junior and Senior Class President. After graduation, Missy went on to study at the University of Florida where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in political science and later earned her MBA from American University in Washington, D.C. Devoted to public service, she was the first woman elected as Dallas County Republican Committee chairwoman.

Endowed by the Pinellas Education Foundation, the Missy Shorey Memorial Scholarship Fund supports female students pursuing a four-year college degree from Pinellas County, Florida, who demonstrate leadership in their school and community and reflect the strong spirit and conservative values by which Missy defined her life.
