We are a community of dancers who know about the importance of cross training and not only keeping your mind healthy but your body as well. That's why we are bringing you #DistrictFitness every Monday and Wednesday with Louis Raemerez!
Event Details
Dancing is a great way to stay fit and healthy but sometimes our bodies need a little extra push. We will cycle through several athletic positions and movements with no extra weight involved (your own body will provide all the weight) including but not limited to: Standing, Planks, Holds, extended movement patterns, tumbling and bracing. Dance moves that were awkward or difficult will start becoming more accessible as you learn how to "brace" correctly and become stronger.
