Having trouble deciding where to watch some fireworks this 4th of July in St. Pete and Clearwater? Don't worry – we've got you covered!
Starting with live music at North Straub Park from 5 to 7 p.m., the Downtown St. Petersburg Waterfront will host the city's Fourth of July fireworks celebration. Ferg's Sports Bar is also hosting an event before the fireworks, featuring live rock music, BBQ, and a hot dog eating contest. Beginning at 8:30 pm (subject to change), the fireworks show will be visible along Bayshore Drive at many city parks, including Albert Whitted Park, North Straub Park, South Straub Park, North Shore Park, Elva Rouse, and Flora Wylie.

One of the largest firework shows in Pinellas County takes place at Largo Central Park. This 4thof July, head to the Park early to grab a good spot – entertainment begins at 6 pm. Enjoy great food, entertainment and plenty of activities for people of all ages, followed by spectacular fireworks. This is a family-friendly event, so leave your alcohol, coolers, pets, and personal fireworks at home.
Grab your boarding pass today for a firework show aboard Yacht Starship Cruises. Departing at 7 pm you will cruise the sea for the best view of the fireworks, returning at 10:00 pm. Limited tickets are available and they sell out each year, so act quickly! This is an all-inclusive 4th of July cruise which includes a delicious All-American BBQ buffet, desserts, dancing to DJ entertainment, beverages and the St Petersburg fireworks show! Cocktails are available for purchase for those 21 and over. Odyssey Expeditions also features a 4th of July cruise to drink and watch the fireworks out of Tarpon Springs.
This free event will be taking place along the water at Coachman Park in Downtown Clearwater, featuring a patriotic concert, food and drink concessions, a children’s play area, and local vendors. Gates open at 4 pm and the fireworks are expected to begin around 9:30 p.m., so bring the whole family out for a day of celebration.
Gulfport is going big this year with activities all Independence Day long! Festivities begin at 8 am with the Kid’s Star Spangled Banner Fishing Derby, followed by a Family Sand Sculpture Contest, Mullet Toss, parade, and finally – the spectacular fireworks display at 9 p.m.
Grab your lawn chairs and head out to Craig Park from 10 am to 2 pm for a community picnic. Stay for a while, mingle with some neighbors, and then mosey on over to Howard Park, where the fireworks will commence around 7:30 pm.
