Cuban sandwiches, the beach, the Buccaneers and the Lightning. All of these are things Tampa is known for, but something you may not realize is that the Tampa Bay area is fast becoming well known for beer! In 2018, we had at least 60 breweries in our area. Tampa has become a travel destination for people who love craft beer.  To celebrate all the beer and breweries in the area we have the 9th annual Brews with Attitude Beerfest.

Held at the TPepin Hospitality Center in Tampa on April 2nd, you will be able to taste over 200 different beers from more than 50 breweries.  Some of the breweries you're likely to see there are St. Pete favorites 3 Daughters Brewing and Big Storm Brewing, Clearwater's Pair O'Dice Brewing, and Tampa's Coppertail Brewing. There will also be food on hand, served by local food trucks. Some of the previous trucks who have participated are Just Smokin BBQ, Mr C's Grilled Cheese, and St. Pete Taco Lady.  You should expect to see much of the same this year. Last year's food truck list was found on www.tampabayfoodtruckrally.com. Something else Tampa is known for - CIGARS! There will be hand rolled cigars available for purchase for those who enjoy having one with their tasty craft beer.

What beer fest would be complete without musical entertainment? Your Brews with Attitude band this year is The Black Honkeys, who will serve you up some danceable and funkadelic tunes.

This event usually draws a crowd, so you're going to want to buy your tickets in advance. In addition, the ticket price goes up as the event gets closer, so the sooner you get one, the better!  Currently the price begins at $30 and you can purchase tickets from Eventbrite.

Noted on the Pepin event page, there will be a Lyft discount code posted shortly so that everyone can drink responsibly and get home safe.

Watch for the code to be posted here.
