Lucky for those in the 727 area, we live and visit in an area where we can celebrate the Fourth of July with the added bonus of getting to do it on some of Florida's most beautiful beaches.  This year is no exception as there will be a ton of Independence Day celebrations along the beach when Wedneday, July 4 rolls around.

One you definitely don't want to miss will be the all-day 4th of July celebration at Archibald Park on Madeira Beach.  This luau-themed celebration will run throughout the day and end with a jaw-dropping fireworks show over the Gulf of Mexico to commemorate this patriotic holiday.

Daytime activities will kick off around noon at Archibald Park.  The celebration, perfect for kids and adults of all ages, will feature a host of fun activities and attractions to partake in.  These include a tiki bar, local food vendors, volleyball games, hula-hooping and limbo contests, live bands, and the city of Madeira Beach's very own 65th anniversary celebration.

The fireworks will go off at around 9 p.m. right off the beach and over the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.  This is one show you don't want to miss.

Parking will not be available at Archibald Park during the celebration.  Non-residents can pay $10 a car to park at the fields by city hall and be shuttled over and residents with city parking stickers can park here free.

Sound fun?  Round up the crew and make plans to celebrate right with this 4th of July Celebration on Madeira Beach.
