MacDinton's, arguably the most-loved Irish pub in South Tampa, is putting the final touches on their brand new St. Petersburg location located inside Jannus Live.

Following years of immense success at the hand of college kids and young professionals in the Tampa area, MacDinton's has partnered with the beloved Downtown St. Pete concert venue to open a new bar right on the premises.  The new MacDinton's will have their entrance along First Avenue N. on the 200 block.

MacDinton's officials are planning to open the new St. Pete location on December 30 with their famed "Crazy Happy Hour" from 6 to 8 p.m. with you-can-drink draft beer, house wine and select liquors for $10.

On the next night, there will be a special New Year's Eve concert featuring Cheap Trick at Jannus Live.  If you don't plan on going to the show, no worries.  MacDinton's will be open and in full swing with free cover, champagne toast at midnight, live DJ, and a live stream of the Cheap Trick concert on the TVs.

Much like the Tampa location, the St. Pete MacDinton's will serve traditional Irish fare (beginning in January) and have drink specials as well as live music throughout the week.  MacDinton's will also partner with Jannus Live allowing it to use the courtyard for big events like their famed St. Patrick's Day party and other co-sponsored happenings.

If you're in St. Pete, head to the new MacDinton's and show this beloved Tampa pub how we do it in the Burg!
