Description
The busy months of the holiday season have prompted an initiative to provide additional passport acceptance hours in the Pinellas County Clerk's office.
Event Details
In an effort to provide citizens with plenty of opportunities to apply for a passport, the Clerk’s office will offer extended office hours on the following two days:
-Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Clearwater Recording Services – 315 Court St., Room 150, Clearwater, FL 33756
-Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Clerk’s Tyrone Branch Office – 1800 66th St. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33710
These dates have been dedicated for the Holiday Passport Acceptance event with the goal of providing more convenient hours for the public who might not make it to the office during regular business hours.
“The decision to extend our office hours was based on the fact that many families have to work around a hectic work and school schedule, and coupled with the busy holiday season, everyone can benefit from a few extra hours to get things done” said Ken Burke, Pinellas County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller.
Please note the office will work on a first-come, first-served basis and will apply the regular fees as usual. For more information on passport requirements, visit the Clerk’s website www.mypinellasclerk.org or call (727) 464-7000.
