I was fortunate enough to be invited to check out the new Yard of Ale Gastro Pub for a soft friends and family opening. My initial thought when I learned that a Yard of Ale was going in at the old Venue location, that can't be pulled off. Well I was proven wrong. The decor and atmosphere was absolutely amazing. The menu was well balanced and the beer selection was stellar. I also enjoyed a couple specialty drinks that were quite amazing. In short, I highly recommend checking this place out and leave your review to let others know about your experience.
Pros: The atmosphere and decor is the prize gem. The outside patio bar, plenty of parking, the food and the service.
Cons: It's a bit of a hike for me but it was worth the trip. Not too bad taking the Crosstown to Gandy though.
Get the burger. It's awesome. Ask for a recommended beer. Bartender will hook you up with something amazing. Upstairs is where the magic happens.
Pros: Easy access, great parking, lots of diversity. I like how I can hang out outside and have a few custom beers and grab a mouth watering burger in a great area to converse before I hit the other types of clubs in this place. It's my new one stop party shop when I'm in the area.
Cons: I live over an hour away from this place.
