By the nature of a Visual Artists business- with high impact graphics and the ability to help others express what is important to them, our world of new media has created incredible new ways to partner with non-profits and customers. The resulting wide ranging series of initiatives include contests, giveaways, fundraising drives and events to benefit communities.
Continuing our conversation on "How Best to Market Myself as an Artist and Grow My Creative Business," this month Keith Winn, owner of MulaBula, will share a number of ideas that you can implement and use to grow your business while "doing good" for your community. Keith Winn has raised more than $100K for charity through photography in the past year. MulaBula has become the "go-to" leader in online photo contests for fundraising. In creating this service, a unique opportunity arose to drive hundreds of clients through to participating art studios. The last three photographers who partnered with MulaBula gained hundreds of local customers who earned $30k to $100K in print sales; all while making substantial donations to charities.
Keith has a unique blend of business, technology and creative art/photography in his background. Formally trained in Bio-Medical and Electrical Engineering from Duke University, with a Harvard Business School Certificate in Executive Leadership, Keith is most proud of "coming out of his creative closet" in 2009 with his photography. His photography endeavors, kwstudios.biz and mylbb.biz, have captured weddings, fashion and corporate events. Keith is a passionate entrepreneur that gladly shares his experiences while always learning from others to continually improve and obtain even higher heights. Keith will be speaking with us and engaging attendees in a discussion regarding "Socially Responsible Marketing - aka- How to pro mote and make money for non-profits while growing your business."
