It took a while, but food trucks have now taken over this side of the bay.

The Grand Central Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival could easily be a testament to just how well-received food trucks have become in St. Petersburg in these past few months.

This one of a kind beer and food truck festival is taking place on Saturday, May 19 in St. Petersburg's Grand Central District located at 28th Street and Central Avenue in Downtown St. Pete.

What can you expect?  First off, over 30 breweries serving an endless variety of craft beers for all those in attendance.  Breweries at the Grand Central Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival will include Tampa's own Cigar City Brewing and the Tampa Bay Brewing Company, Sierra Nevada, Lagunitas, Samuel Adams, Dogfish Head, Swamp Head Brewery, and many more.

In addition, there will be a fantastic line-up of over 15 local food trucks in attendance including Wicked 'Wiches, O'Macalicious, and more.

If you want to attend the Grand Central Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival, beer sampling tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door.  This will get you a special tasting glass, a beer sample wristband, three food truck sample tickets, and access to all the other great stuff going on throughout the day.

There are other options as well.  You can get three food truck sample tickets for 10 bucks or simply head to the event for free and decide what you want when you get there.  Pretty cool.
