First Night St. Pete, a citywide, family-friendly New Year's Eve celebration will return to Downtown St. Petersburg for its 20th anniversary on Monday, December 31st.

Taking place throughout multiple venues in Downtown St. Petersburg, First Night St. Pete will transform the city into a veritable playground filled with music stages, entertainment, drama, dance, games, art, fireworks and more well-suited for adults and kids alike.

It all kicks off at 5 p.m. on Monday, December 31 with First Kids at the famous Pier in Downtown St. Pete.  Here, kids can create crazy New Year's party hats with Sherri Lundquist, check out the Musical Petting Zoo provided by the 2nd Time Arounders Band, and more.

The celebration will then continue with tons of performances throughout multiple venues in Downtown St. Pete.  Check out a sure to be spectacular performance from two of the area's best songwriters Rebekah Pulley & Ronny Elliott followed by a show from Chorus Angelorum at the St. Petersburg Museum of History beginning at 7 p.m.

Or maybe check out the Labyrinth, a First Night St. Pete tradition, in South Straub Park beginning at 7 p.m. and remaining open throughout the night.  Take a trek up to North Straub Park and you'll be able to enjoy the warmth of the Resolution Bonfire or even ice skate, yes, ice skate with a realistic ice skating rink inside the park.

End your night with dazzling fireworks over Vinoy Park at 9 p.m. and midnight to ring in the New Year in Saint Petersburg.
