The Festivals of Speed is returning for its 9th annual run in Downtown St. Petersburg on the weekend of March 30-April1. This family-friendly event will feature the finest in luxury cars, watercraft, aircraft, and motorcycles all along the waterfront in Downtown St. Petersburg.
This weekend-long event will start with a Jet Port Reception on March 30 inside an actual hangar at the Tampa International Airport. The price of a ticket includes open bar all night long, themed food stations, and a huge display of vintage and contemporary aircraft, exotic cars, custom motorcycles, high performance boats, and other luxury products. Tickets to the Jet Port Reception are $100.
There will also be an offshore powerboat "Poker Run" on Saturday, March 31 departing from the Renaissance Vinoy Marina. Watch this multi million dollar display of powerboats going over 100 miles per hour in the Tampa Bay.
The highlight of the weekend is the Festival of Speed on Sunday, April 1 at North Straub Park in Downtown St. Petersburg. Patrons can walk through the park and see some truly dazzling and luxurious sports cars, custom motorcycles, and high performance watercraft. The Festival of Speed goes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will also feature food cafes, VIP Cafes, smooth jazz, wine tastings, cigar smokes, luxury lifestyle displays, Fashion shows and more. Festival of Speed tickets are $10.
