Thrill St. Pete, now in its third year, should definitely be in the running for one of the most unique events in St. Pete.  Every year, typically within a few days of Halloween, hundreds of Burg and surrounding area residents gather at The Pier in Downtown St. Pete to dance the famous dance from Michael Jackson's Thriller video.  Not only that, but groups from around the world will gather to do the same dance at the same time to coordinate the world's largest synchronized Thriller dance.

This year it all goes down on Saturday, October 29 at 10 p.m. on the dot.  Best of all, it's FREE to participate.  Anyone is welcome to join; young, old, uncoordinated, professional, it doesn't matter, the more the merrier.  Just head to the Thrill St. Pete website here to register.  They'll help you out too.  Every Friday leading up until the event, you can head to Zombie Workshops on the third floor of the St. Pete Pier to learn the dance.  Workshops begin at 6 and last until 8 p.m.

If you can't make it to the workshops, the Thrill St. Pete website also has instructional Youtube videos and DVD's for purchase that'll teach you this famous dance.

To participate or simply watch this crazy feat, head out the the St. Pete Pier on Saturday, October 29 and experience Thrill St. Pete.
